I had purchased this as an undershirt for wife going to Alaska, and she loved that its not bulky and feels clumpy underneath. It was size 4x and she wants two more without hoods for under her work scrubs... Weight...I am husband so you get a 200+

Best hoodie for hot weather fishing and hiking

I love this hoodie. I have probably owned six. They are great for hot weather activities in the Southeast. The ponytail hole is awesome to keep hair from getting sweaty on your neck. The only thing I noticed recently, is the patterned version in the same size as the solid color is quite a bit smaller. I don't know if that is a quality control thing or what. They both fit, but the solid is baggy and the sleeves are too long.

Favorite shirts for outdoor activities in the PNW. From hiking to a bike ride in the park. This keeps me protected from the sun while being lightweight and cool and comfortable.

Material is nice and thin

Material is nice and thin for when you want sun protection but it's also hot out. I wish it was a little bit more of a relaxed fit in the mid section. Gets twisted when I have a hit belt on with my backpacking pack.

Favorite Sun Hoodie

Great sun protection, Echo Hoodie

Great for sun protection when hiking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went for a long-ish hike in this shirt, with the echo tank layered underneath, and I was comfortable even in bright sun in ~65-70 degree F temperatures because it's so nice and lightweight.

Wanted to love this hoodie....

When you first put this hoodie on, it feels amazing. The color is beautiful, the fit perfect-shaped for a woman but definitely not form fitting, perfect length....and so on. Unfortunately here's the deal-if you plan to use this for anything outdoors that you might get a little dirty at, this isn't the shirt you want. It snags so easily, making the wonderful feeling you had at first become jaded. It stains with almost everything and within minutes you feel like a mess. I'm a river guide so I live in these style shirts on a daily basis and I wanted to love this shirt but I can't honestly recommend if you are someone who "gets into an activity "..::

I've been waiting for Echo Plus Size

And it's been worth it! I'm 5'4" and 235 and the 2XL fits perfectly. I wouldn't want it to be either larger or smaller. The length is perfect and the shirt is so breathable. I wear this all the time. I had melanoma as a child and deal with fighting the sun in exposed hikes. I've just had another piece of my ear taken off and IMO all other "sun hoodies" are too hot and don't breath as well. This is the only item on the market comparable in plus size. I hope the attitude around plus size women in the hiking gear community (because let's face it, men's clothing often has 1x & 2x) fades away to a distant memory. One of the hardest parts about backpacking is the lack of quality gear for women of my size.
