Great pants

My old pants were OR and lasted forever so when it was time for new ones it was a no brainer to go with these. They are incredibly comfortable. Very soft and very stretchy makes them great pants for any outdoor activity. The legs zip off easily and the pockets are great. Can't say much more about them. Outstanding quality and a great brand who stands behind their products.

have had a pair for year, and just ordered another during labor day sale. They are durable and comfortable. The Ferrosi fabric provides a good balance of protection and breathability.

Ferrosi Convertible Pants Uncomfortable

I returned this product before using it

The Ferrosi Convertible pant is uncomfortable because there is a fat fold of fabric just above the zipper of the zip off lower leg that rubs against your skin just above the knee, both with and without the lower leg attached to the shorts. I own several other brands of convertible hiking pants and none of them have this poor design.

Comfortable and breathable

These are wonderfully light, fit and move really well, and overall I think I'd trust these anywhere. Great pants.

Great material!

The best thing about these trousers is that one doesn't feel them at all when being physically active. Anoi great thing is that you can only notice that zip near your knee for the first minute or two, and then you completely forget about it.

Ideal pants for Camino walk

I wore these pants 32 days straight while walking the Camino Frances in Spain. They were terrific. East to hand wash at night yet be dry in the morning. Lightweight for hot Spanish sunshine yet keeping me warm in the morning. Easy to zip off when your exertions make you sweaty. I didn't even bother alternating with the joggers from another brand, which quickly became my pajama bottoms for cold nights.

These pants are true to fit, super comfortable, and an excellent choice for those days where the cool mornings turn to hot afternoons.

Perfect for travel and outdoors

Great for the dusty weather and windstorms I've experienced out here. Also great flying pants, good amount of stretch and breathability for sitting on a plane for 6 hours.

Great pants!

These are great pants. The only downside is the poor quality of the convertible zippers, which was a deal breaker for me... However that doesn't affect the quality of the pants, only its versatility. With that said, I would recommend the non convertible version of these pants anyday. And if OR can fix the quality issue of these convertible zippers, then they would have the best all around convertible pants in the game, on top of already having the best hiking pants.

Comfortable pants

Purchased for a late summer canoe trip where the mornings and evening were cool but the days were warm. Nice and easy to convert back and forth between shorts and pants.
