My favorite shorts for hiking would recommend more for warm movements. But can pair well with cold days if you layer or if you run hot.

Must have
These pants are super light weight and comfortable. Even though they are thin they are surprisingly warm. I’m 6’1, 235lbs and I’m a shorts guy. These pants have changed my mind and I would recommend them to anyone that dislikes wearing pants as much as I do.

These pants are fantastic. I have tried multiple other brands from other outdoor clothing makers and these pants topped them all. They are lightweight, very cool and breathable, and will generally work for any occasion. You can dress these up or dress them down or go hiking and even out to dinner. Would 100% recommend them.

Great Pants
The fit on these is very nice and they come with the side cargo pocket. They also can be worn without a belt as there is interior drawstrings. I love OR and this only makes them that much more great

Bring back the old fabric!
I like the fit feel and design of theses, I'm not a huge fan of the draw string on the waist, just ends up in my way. The bungee cord drawstring for the cuffs will be very nice for backcountry use, annoying for casual. BUT the reason for the ones start is the material, it is no where near as my original pairs of these that I've had for years! It less durable has more pilling after about 4 washes then a pair with the old material that is about 7! years old and doesn't shed water the same. I'm all for new materials but not if they are a massive compromise, which this is. I wish i had bought more of the old ones when I could.

Great, lightweight pants that are perfect for warm-weather, outdoor sports. Really enjoy them flyfishing either wet-wading or under waders with no bulk. Nice enough for office settings as well. I do notice that pilling on the fabric occurs after about three months of wear / washing.

My favorite pants
I have a pair that are probably 7 or 8 years old and still in great shape despite being worn all the time. They are light enough for summer. During winter I wear long johns or pj bottoms for more warmth and the pants are breathable enough to keep it comfortable. They are comfy, look good, and the design is ideal for me. I have four now and would have more if the other colors were available in my size…
