Best mittens ever!
These are my absolute favourite mittens of all time. Stylish, fit well, warm but not bulky. I own several pairs because unfortunately they don’t come with a homing device and I always seem to loose one of the pair… (my bad). Would love to see them in more colours. I personally prefer the mittens over the gloves, but the gloves are fantastic too!

Runs small
Love the fabric and style, but too small. There are seams inside that feel rough on the fingertips. I have large hands so wish there was an extra large, may have to go over to the men’ side

For very skinny hands
I've ordered these before over the years, they are warm. The new style is too narrow even after going up to a large.

Sizing chart is not accurate
We measured my wife's hands carefully, and according to the sizing chart she is a small. However the mitts are way too short. Suggesting going up a size. Other than sizing, they seem to be OK. Not worth returning due to shipping costs, we will give them away to someone with smaller hands.

BEST Mittens Ever!
I lost my original pair of these mittens - perfect for general cold weather activities like walking the dog, out for an evening, etc. Sooo glad Outdoor Research is still making them and I was able to get a quick replacement pair!

sizing issues, but great for cold windy running!
I love this mitten and have it in a size Large, which is far too big for me though (too wide). Sadly the medium is ridiculously small in comparison (too narrow and thumb/web area not long enough) and had to be returned. It's great for running in below freezing temps, when there is also wind. Wish they would re-work the sizing because it should also be unisex, and not just women's (or offer a men's sizing version).

perfect lightwt gloves and mittens
I absolutely love these gloves and mittens (have both)-- I thought I had lost the mittens so checked to make sure OR still offered them. Thankfully still here!! They are great when you only need lightweight warmth to take the edge off. Plus hand warmers fit perfectly in the mittens. Please don't stop offering them.

Flimsy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Much thinner than expected and pilled after two wearings. Don't waste your money.

Watch the sizing... runs small
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Size Bought:
- small
These are nice light mittens, but be careful with the sizing. I have the similar OR flurry glove which I really like and assumed the sizing (S in gloves) would be the same, but in the mittens they were too small. The Small in the mittens is REALLY small, so adjust accordingly.

Mittens accidentally survived two months in the subarctic.
In the winter of 2022 I set out on an expedition in far Northern Quebec, starting in March and ending in April. I would travel with 14 others, and we would have one resupply. I had been preparing for almost a full year, which included a LOT of research on the best clothing to bring. But as with most trips, the final gear sort was very rushed. I mistook my girlfriend's flurry mitts for my own mittens, and packed them in my bag. By the time I realized my mistake I was sitting in a cozy Gaspe hostel, too far in to buy new mittens. So I dealt, and made it through with all my 10 fingers perfectly happy. I layered up with a pair of ski gloves and waterproof overmitts, but most of the insulation I got was from these mittens. Luckily temperatures were fairly balmy, rarely dropping below -20 degrees and my overmitts kept my hands well protected from the wind. I fell in the snow plenty, wore through my ski gloves, nearly lost a mitten behind my backpack, but I could always rely on these flurry mitts to keep my hands warm. I don't think I would've kept all my fingers without them. They were comfy, dried quickly, fit well enough (though I had no choice in the size), and were easily recognizable - being the lightest mittens in the tent. Even though I never intended to bring my girlfriend's flurry mitts on a subarctic expedition, I am so glad that I did.
