Fit is fantastic, I'm 5'8" 180lbs and mountain bike gear is often too small for me, even in XL. This fits true to size, has a slightly shaped but relaxed fit and actually looks flattering! It's winter now but I can't wait for spring to try it. Fabric is very light feeling and overall the jersey feels very high quality.

Comfortable, Nice Looking, and Tough
I really like this jersey, so I bought a second one. The short-sleeve version even survived a crash! :-) I do miss have having pockets in the back for snacks and my phone, so maybe add those the next time around.

Better than most.
I would have given 5 stars, but it's not totally airy when biking. It does dry relatively fast on a downhill, but the grind up it seems to hold moisture and cling. That said, it is better than other brands I've tried.

Great fit, great material, LOVE the color, many uses
I love that this shirt is not too loose and not too tight. I really hate feeling constricted. Also love that there are no shoulder seams. Nothing worse than the seam on top of the shoulder digging in when you have a backpack on. The material is super soft and sweat wicking, and it's a UPF 30, which is amazing because I can use this shirt for more things than just biking. I also sometimes teach people how to ride motorcycles (to get their license), and I'll be out in the sun all day. This shirt will protect my arms from the sun, and I like how it's actually collared pretty close to the neck, so there's plenty of sun protection on the chest as well. Being sweat-wicking and breathable means I can stay cool. (Bonus: I wet my sleeves in cold water when it's super hot out as the evaporative cooling really helps!) I haven't done this yet, but I'm also going to use this shirt for hiking as I think it will do great for that, too. I think it's very versatile! Lastly, the color is a little bit more on the copper side than the images seem, but I actually LOVE that because it works so well with my skin tone (olive with black hair). I like the fit and color so much, I will buy another just to have it in case this one wears out. I bought a size Small. I'm 5'2", 125 lbs, 32 DD.

The length is PERFECT!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Freewheel MTB shirt is an absolute game-changer for any outdoor enthusiast hitting the trails. Its perfect length not only ensures that the wind won't blow it up but also provides optimal coverage. The shirt's breathability is exceptional, preventing sweat buildup even during my most intense rides. I love that it's crafted with lightweight and breathable fabric, UPF 30+ sun protection, making it ideal for long days under the sun. Its bike-specific fit ensures unrestricted movement, allowing me to trails with ease. I've put this shirt to the test on various terrains, from dirt trails to gravel roads and overgrown forests, and it has exceeded expectations every time. Despite encountering dirt, debris, and overgrowth along trails, the shirt cleans up effortlessly, with stains washing out. No snags either! Overall, the shirt is a must-have for any cyclist seeking comfort, protection, and durability on and off the trails!

Freakin amazing!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shirt is a staple. I used this ice climbing and hiking in below zero windchill. This base layer wicked away moisture keeping me from getting chilled while belaying after climbing ice pitches. This was also great for hiking in below zero windchills, again the wicking ability kept me from getting cold as we hiked. I loved the microfiber insert on the bottom hem for cleaning my glasses. I didn't have to worry about my lenses being scratched. The fit was also amazing. I have broader shoulder and have problems finding tops that are not tight through the chest. This shirt gave me the movement necessary to swing ice axes. Loved this shirt and the colors. I highly recommend it.

Great moisture management under layers!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bike year round in the PNW (read: lots of mud) . Winter is always a game of layering so you don't get drenched in sweat on the way up but are dry-ish enough to stay warm-ish on the way down. The freewheel shirt is a great addition to my layering system. The wicking properties work great under a rain coat, keeping me dry without feeling moist and muggy. Fit is loose but runs true to size. I am 5'8" and usually wear a size 4 and had plenty of room in a Small, as expected with an mtb jersey. Outdoor Research gave me this free product to try.

Awesome technical top for biking or whatever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this top. First off, it is a good female fit - something that can be hard to find. It's loose but cute. There is no shoulder seam, which I love. The seam falls above the elbow instead and I like that a lot better. Right now it is still pretty chilly so I used this as a layering piece and it was perfect for my base layer. I look forward to using this piece in warmer weather. It breathes well and will protect me from the intense Colorado sun! I really love this shirt from Outdoor Research and would recommend it to any lady shredder!

Versatile, fashionable and practical!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cycling jersey is amazing! The color Moondust is beautiful and a very fitting color for biking, it looks like the gravel roads of Arkansas I rode on today while wearing it! The fabric is soft and stretches when you move. The moisture wicking fabric keeps you dry when it's warm and is a nice long sleeve option when you need something a bit warmer for those cool starting rides and with the upf 30+ for extra protection from the sun! The sleeves are the perfect length on me when I'm stretched out riding. The back dips low enough so there's no embarrassing skin gap between the jersey and shorts. It's fitted to hug you and not flap in the breeze. The seams are done in such a way to not interfere or irritate when wearing a hydration pack and that I love! The hidden microfiber wipe on the left hem is so handy to have to wipe mud or water off your glasses without scratching the lenses and you don't have to worry about carrying anything extra! I've worn this shirt so far on multiple mountain bike and gravel rides and it has performed exceptionally! Great to wear while riding and then hanging out afterwards at a drink stop as a casual look. I've also worn the shirt to work under a vest and a flannel and love it! I can see myself wearing this shirt while trail running too. I also plan on using this shirt for bikepacking, I can see myself being able to rinse it clean at night and it being dry in the morning! My only concern is how durable is the fabric? Some of my mountain bikes trails get overgrown with weeds and thorns so I'm concerned of the possible snagging and or tearing. But that is a concern for many jerseys of mine as well. Outdoor Research gave me this free product to try. I plan to purchase the other colors as well as the short sleeve jersey because I love it so much.

Solid midweight longsleeve
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I'm thoroughly impressed at ORs first foray into the MTB scene, and this jersey is no exception! I've used this for trail rides, gravel rides, and even a chilly trainer sesh in the garage, and whoa, does this thing breathe insanely well! It definitely isn't the most lightweight option in my closet, but it's also not something I will stop reaching for until temps start skyrocketing towards triple digits. The fabric is super soft to the touch, and the goggle wipe is a nice addition so I can definitely see myself throwing this on under a chest protector for warm weather days at the bike park. One caveat is that you'll need to size up if you prefer a baggier fit. I'm a medium/large across the board in OR, and the large in this jersey was a bit of a slimmer fit than I prefer.
