Great pants.
Thank you OR for making a great pair of pants. They are a great blend of comfort and protection. I mostly ride long backcountry, trail, and enduro here in Alaska. They are my go to pants for everything from 85F and sunny to 40F with light rain. Protect from branches, mosquitoes, briars,…. But still are comfortable and breath. The most perfect MTB pants I’ve found in >40 years of mountain biking.

Best MTB pants ever!!!
These are the best fitting mountain bike pants I've ever had (and I've tried alot of different brands). The zippers for the knee pads are a really cool feature too!

Best Women's MTB Pant Available
I have shopped and felt many options for MTB Pants for women - Patagonia, FOX, REI, etc. These by far are the best fitting and best featured. The material is durable/tough without feeling bulky. They are exactly what I was looking for. Trying them on they fit perfectly as we. I am 5'4 135#. I wouldn't hesitate recommending these to any ladies looking for a pair of pants to ride in.

Nice pants, not quite the right fit

These pants seem really well designed and well made but I think they are not quite the right fit for me. I don't like higher waisted pants or shorts when riding. With my body position forward on a bike, a constrictive waistband feels tight and uncomfortable. Also having a waist constriction closer to my diaphragm can restrict breathing. I would call the rise of these pants mid-waisted as it falls right on my belly button, but I prefer a waistband to sit lower to allow for the best movement and free breathing while in a riding position.

Small!

I bought a 2 in these, equivalent to my jeans size. They were tight on my thighs and loose in the waist. I have a very curvy bottom. The waist cinches were insufficient in a 2 so think buy with caution. They seem great, but not for me.

the leg zips are awesome
Good fit and function. The zips on the bottom of the leg to get your knee pads on and off are the greatest.

Even better than the shorts!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I'm a huge fan of the OR Freewheel shorts, but I prefer to wear pants for everything except XC rips and 100+ degree days, so when the pants came out, I had to give them a try. Knowing the fit of the shorts, I went up a size to accommodate burlier knee pads, and that was definitely the right move! The waist adjustment cinches down plenty so that I don't notice the difference in waist size, and I don't notice any movement restrictions either. I have A LOT of mountain bike pants, and these by far are my favorites! My only wish is that they had hand pockets too for those extra chilly days or to hold my lift pass.

Love these pants. Fit great and well thought-out
I love these pants. They fit really well and they are so well thought out. I like having the long zipper along the calf so that putting knee armor in or taking it out is a breeze: You don't have to take the pants off! I also wore it on a 65-mile road ride. It was a chilly morning and so I had on my shorts with chamois, then I put these pants over it. It fit great! The pants are somewhat stretchy, so there was plenty of room for my padded shorts, and I like how it's fitted around the calves so that the pant legs don't catch in your chain or pedals. It's also lightweight (but warm enough for temps in the 50s). Once it warmed up, I took it off and was able to pack it into my very small hydration backpack. I like these pants so much that I am buying them in the other color. I have not tested out it's "abrasion resistance" yet, but likely will when I do a 20-mile MTB ride this weekend. Looking forward to wearing it!
