For an extra toasty defense against winter's lowest temps, we pull on Outdoor Research's Revolution II GORE-TEX Glove. The synthetic fill traps heat, the handwarmer pocket offers an added punch of warmth, and the fleecy lining brings cozy moisture management, so our hands never feel clammy inside. When fresh powder starts to dump, we shred on worry-free, knowing the sticky grip will solidify our hold on our poles and the GORE-TEX insert will block the fluff from soaking through.

Terrible insultaion
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I bought these gloves because they were on sale and were supposed to be warm, and OR has a good reputation. The first ski day was 20 degrees and my fingers were pretty cold. Second day was low teens, and my fingers were freezing. Third day was single digits. and I wore my cheap, three year old pair and my fingers were comfortable. These are not cold weather gloves. Thin insulation and only good for mid twenties and up.

Great Gloves
Gloves fit perfectly. They are quite warm and kept my hands dry as a bone. Love the design and colour, exactly as I had hoped.

Successful fist sledding with the kids in PA!
The gloves worked great and kept my hands nice and warm in our first backyard sledding outing of the season with the kids! In fact, they kept my hands so warm and dry, I had to lie to my wife and say they didn't work on the phone so she had to be the designated photographer all day. I highly recommend the gloves as these are my second set. As you can see in the picture, I am also sporting the OR jacket. Big fan...

The snowboard glove that has it all!
Outside of keeping your hands warm these gloves, have pockets on them, are durable, And have a great style to them. I would definitely buy these again.

Great gloves, but run small to size
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great gloves so far. I have a couple pairs of XL Outdoor Research gloves, but these are quite a bit smaller than the others for some reason. The others, and OR gloves I've had in the past, have all been similar, but these are definitely smaller in every way.

Appear very flimsy. Southback where are you?
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought these as a replacement for my burly old Southback gloves. Looks identical online. Compared to the Southback, these are made of very thin and lightweight material. The goat leather has been replaced by something plastic/foamlike and the body material is very thin. The sturdy old lanyards are now very cheap looking. I would not expect these to last very long. Sizing is also small. I will keep using my old Southbacks until something better is available.

I would buy this if they had it in black
Have been waiting and hoping this would come out in black. Red is not my color and I am not a camo fan. Please OR, make it in black!

Great Gloves
Great all-rounder glove. Used mainly for daily snow removal/shoveling and casual outdoor recreation. Holds up great in the frigid northern Canadian winter. Love the camo colour!
