Low Gators
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- Large/ XL for men’s size 10.5 boot
Bought 1 month ago and have used 3x in snow when hiking. Am fully satisfied w/ performance: Water resistant, easy on/ off, effective clasp grasps onto shoe laces. Worn on my ankle high hiking boots with snow cleats- was having the problem of occasional tripping when shoe lace bow looped hooked onto other boot lace hook or the snow cleat of the opposite foot. Hear gators also prevent that problem because they cover the boot lace hooks and laces.

I just got these this winter to keep snow and rock out of my ankles on hikes. I think they fit great around my shoe and leg, and have done their job well thus far! They go on super quick and I like that they hook on to your laces in the front. They may look slightly puffy, but not ridiculous by any means.

Fit like balloons around my ankles
I bought these recently so I have a short height version to complement my full height version and these are terrible. There is either a defect in the cut of the material or there is a defect in the design. They fit like balloons around my ankles and there is no way to cinch them tight higher up on my calves in order to try to pull them up. Never mind how silly they look but from a practical perspective, there's no doubt these would get caught on something on the trail which in my view renders them useless. I'm a big fan and supporter of OR products but this product is a dud. I don't recommend these.

Resistand but chunky
I guess they are made to wear into Non-fitted jeand because they are wide, in the photo they look slim as they are stretched buy once you wear them they fall down and become chunky wich (if you walk with you legs near each other) they will be rub into each other at every step. Anyway if you don´t mind this the material looks resistant.
