Great Jacket, terrible sizing.
Ordered a Women’s Small and it fits more like a Large

Warm and Dry!
I bought this jacket in Nov 2023 but I didn’t really get to utilize it until this ski season. It’s kept me dry and warm through rain and snow while I’m out on the mountain for 5+ hours at a time. When it’s a warmer snow day I can wear it with two base layers underneath and feel perfect. When it’s really cold at night I can additionally fit a mid layer and an insulation layer under to keep warm and not feel restricted or marshmellow-y. I really like the hood and how it goes past my eyes so that rain water does not get in. I also love that the hood can fit over my large helmet, still allowing me to zip up so that no windchill gets in. I love the amount of pockets on the jacket, there’s a place for everything I need to carry like my lift pass and my phone and snacks and eye drops. When it doesn’t get soaked, I will hang it in the sun to dry and it will be ready for my next trip. When it is wetter than usual I will toss it in the dryer on air dry. In terms of quality, I think it’s holding up really well to the wear and tear that I’ve put it through. I am 5’5 and I weigh 155-165lbs. I went with a large in women’s. Medium also fit but I have wider shoulders and wanted to account for the amount of layering I might need to do.

Nicely insulated without the bulk
Love this coat for skiing and watching my kids ski, got the blue/purple color from a previous season and color is amazing. Big upgrade from my previous strategy of gore-tex coat over layers...this works w just a T-shirt and thin merino base layer. Only complaint is I sized up to get room in my shoulders, which made the hip area massive. I typically have this problem but maybe this is a benefit to others, I just have broad shoulders. Still highly recommend.

Favourite jacket yet!
I bought this jacket in a blue for skiing and absolutely love it! It’s so warm and the armpit ventilation is great for when it’s warmer temps. The pockets are amazing, so many to choose from! I sized down to an xs and fits perfectly, not bulky or too tight I can’t move. I’ve havent had any issues with the zipper and I was worried because most people complained about that. I find just hold the jacket from the bottoms and zip up. 10/10

Love jacket. Zipper sucks
I'll start out by saying that I own a wide variety of OR products (pants, leggings, mitts, coats, sweaters). Love the brand. Overall, I love this coat. I have the two-tone pink - colour is great. It is warm but light weight, fit is great. I am however disappointed in the zipper; it up is really tough to get the insertion pin into the slider deep enough to do up the coat (sometimes it takes 5-10 tries of pulling it out and pushing it back in). The zippers on my other 4 OR coats all work smooth.

The warmest and most functional jacket I’ve owned
I love this jacket. It’s super warm so it requires minimal layering underneath. Recently I’ve needed to use the pit zips because I’ve gotten too warm. The colors on this jacket are sick and I’m obsessed with the number of pockets. A ski pass pocket which I’ve never had, mesh pocket on the inside to hold an extra lense, and multiple zippered pockets for my phone and snacks.

I bought this jacket as an alternative to the more expensive Tungsten II. Fit is big around the hips and a little sloppy around the neck making the jacket run a bit high and slide backwards snug against the face. However, on the plus side, the jacket is warm, dry, light, and entirely waterproof. The thickness and durability of the Ventia fabric is a little bit lighter, thinner, and less durable than the Gore-Tex pro that is on the Tungsten II jacket. Overall, it’s a very nice, lesser expensive alternative to the expensive Tungsten II. Pro tip, jacket runs big, so if you are between sizes, go with the smaller option. Jacket will definitely keep you warm and dry on the slopes and in really crappy cold, wet Seattle winter conditions.

Women’s Snowcrew Jacket
I love my Women’s Snowcrew Jacket. It has great features. It’s warm, wind resistant, moisture resistant, has great pit vents for when it’s warmer out or I’m skiing hard. Overall it’s a great looking and great feeling jacket. I highly recommend it. I also bought the matching Snowcrew pants, and I love them too!
