Why We Like The Snowcrew Pant
We do one thing when winter comes along in our region—we chase powder. That requires a pant that can keep up with our rampant searches deep into the hills or at the local resort. That pant is the Snowcrew Pant from Outdoor Research. Fully waterproof, highly breathable, and extremely mobile, the Snowcrew keeps us reared and ready to go while we scout for staches of kneck deep snow at our favorite riding locations.

Comfy, look great, not ideal for big legs
The pants are great for warmer days, and are a nice, more fitted and streamlined option. If you're a guy with more muscular legs and have trouble finding street pants that fit, you'll have trouble with these. I'm a 33 waist, and the large is big on me in the waist, but skin tight in the legs, which can impact mobility. They are very comfortable and breath well. I'd say these are a great resort pant and most people with average proportions will be very happy

Great pants and good fit. Worked really well in the outdoor when skiing with keeping dry and warm.

Comfortable, Dry, and Durable
This is my second season with these Snowcrew pants. They are extremely comfortable, have been completely waterproof even in rain and heavy wet/warm snow. I also bought the Snowcrew jacket and it has performed just as well. A few weeks ago we had some bad ice on the mountain after an inversion layer warmed things up for a few days, I ended up falling on the ice and slid 26.7 mph (thanks GPS) about 200 yards down rough ice. I felt heat coming through my to my hip, upper arm, and shoulder and thought I had shedded my pants and jacket, and thought my skin was next. To my amazement, both my pants and jacket don’t have a mark on them. I couldn’t believe it. People were walking around the lodge that day with torn pants and jackets from other reputable, more expensive manufacturers. I am an OR customer for life now.

Fit well, lightly insulated, comfortable on a 14F degree day (4F at the summit) with light baselayer.

Warm and Dry
Went skiing and my legs stayed warm and dry. Breathe well and shed snow. Good features in the pockets and cuffs, well laid out. They fit pretty baggy, more of a snowboarder style. I liked them well enough that after I got back from skiing I bought the snowcrew jacket. They are lighter than I expected so I didn't think they'd be so warm, I guess modern synthetic insulation has gotten pretty good.

OK Ski Pant
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- Large
The pants are fine. Could use a back pocket and a more stout fabric. I purchased in a copper color which I like and is quite nice. Not warm enough for a really cold day (anything below about 10 degrees) but they are roomy enough for a thick base layer.

Probably would not order again
I have not worn as they are too big - I should have ordered a medium. I will return. Dick

Very nice
Actually pretty warm for how thin they are, You can layer underneath they fit well around the waist and they're nice and waterproof

Very happy with these pants
I'm very happy with these pants so far. The waterproofing seems to be great. The vents are long and work well. They are comfortable. Warm, but not too warm. Overall, these are great. I do wish there were more pocket options. I don't understand why these wouldn't have rear pockets, or at least something in addition to the normal front-thigh pocket. But that is my only criticism. My jacket has enough pockets to make up for it.
