Sunbriolet Sun Hat

Does what i need it to do save my bald head from sun burn an not make me overheat.

Pretty good

I mean it does its job but if you put it in a bag and it gets folded at all it stays looking weird and folded

I want more of these hats

Love the weight, size and color of this hat. It also has excellent coverage from the sun.

I've put it through the wringer

it is very hard to find a hat that has excellent coverage. I finally found the best hat - the Sunbriolet by OR. I have bought 4 and will buy more because one might get lost. A wonderful and protective hat.

A great hat for sun protection!

Since it doesn’t fold up, I put this terrific sun hat at the bottom of my suitcase, underneath the rest of my clothes. My husband also has this hat, and I got the same size, a large. So, that is a consideration when ordering. It really protects from the sun and isn’t too hot to wear in the heat.

I love this hat! It’s lightweight but sturdy, with good wide brim and an adjustable fit. And, it looks good!

Love em. Want new colors!

I have 3! I love these hats when I'm going on a long sweaty hike. The sweat drains off the brim. It's great. Also, I look amazing in them. Washing them is a pain and they don't maintain their perfectly flat brim, but it's fine. Wish they would bring new colors. The red is great. The since-discontinued Lavender one goes great with some of their other clothes. Would love a purple one. Great hat.

I bought this hat just prior to a 3 week GC river trip to replace the same model I had for years. The regular shipping envelop it came in looked flat, but the brim of the hat inside was completely jacked. It absolutely won't flatten out enough to shade the left side of my face and I ended up using an old straw hat for the entire trip. Ironically, two of our guests purchased the same model in the same color just before the trip and their hats looked fine. Reading thru reviews, this brim issue doesn't seem to be an isolated case. Bummed. OR stuff is generally high quality.

Well made, breathes well, and keeps the sun off your face. Feels light.

Breathability and Shade

I use this hat for both gardening and hiking. I like that it is lightweight and easy to pack. It doesn't take up a lot of room and when I unroll it, it keeps shape pretty good. At first I was disappointed with the cheap rubber chin strap lock, but it works out OK. I would definitely buy again, but I would measure my head first, I preemptively bought the size Large and it is a tad too big.
