Good Sun and Rain Hat

Hat is light, packable, and does a great job keeping the sun and rain off. It even looks good. It is not as breathable as I expected. I bought it for a trip to Mexico which, in hindsight sight, is the wrong application for this hat. It is much better in the PNW where I live. This tracks for an OR product. I also run hot and am a sweater. This may not be an issue for you. Outside of the tropics, this hat is an 11/10.

This is my go to yard work hat. It does a great job of blocking the sun and protecting my face and neck from the sun. I like how light weight it is and how well it wicks away moisture. I felt it was a tad bit small but otherwise I love it.

Funny brim shape after washing

I bought this hat to compliment my Seattle sombrero hat for the summer. it has worked well in the field as a land surveyor. I have washed it once or twice and I found that the brim doesn't go back to its original shape and I'm looking for a solution on how to get it to shape to something I would like better. It sheds the rain well and blocks the sun on my neck well. I bought an extra large which fits a little big, but I wear a sweat band so it works great.

Does what i need it to do save my bald head from sun burn an not make me overheat.

I mean it does its job but if you put it in a bag and it gets folded at all it stays looking weird and folded

Love the weight, size and color of this hat. It also has excellent coverage from the sun.

I've put it through the wringer

it is very hard to find a hat that has excellent coverage. I finally found the best hat - the Sunbriolet by OR. I have bought 4 and will buy more because one might get lost. A wonderful and protective hat.

A great hat for sun protection!

Since it doesn’t fold up, I put this terrific sun hat at the bottom of my suitcase, underneath the rest of my clothes. My husband also has this hat, and I got the same size, a large. So, that is a consideration when ordering. It really protects from the sun and isn’t too hot to wear in the heat.

The perfect hiking hat!

I love this hat! It’s lightweight but sturdy, with good wide brim and an adjustable fit. And, it looks good!

Love em. Want new colors!

I have 3! I love these hats when I'm going on a long sweaty hike. The sweat drains off the brim. It's great. Also, I look amazing in them. Washing them is a pain and they don't maintain their perfectly flat brim, but it's fine. Wish they would bring new colors. The red is great. The since-discontinued Lavender one goes great with some of their other clothes. Would love a purple one. Great hat.
