Great protection for crack climbing
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- XS
Got these after scraping my hands up cracking climbing a couple times, and glad I did. They provide protection for the tops of your hands, while leaving the fingers free, but I do wish there was more padding like in some other crack climbing gloves (this could be personal preference, as I'm a novice climber). I'm an XS in most gloves and tried both the S and XS - was a little bit inbetween sizes with these gloves but kept the XS, so be sure to measure carefully. Overall, would recommend, as Backcountry has the best price I've seen around as well.

Great gloves
Gloves have been great. could had some more protection for the thumb but other than that they are great.

Good Protection Without Bulk
These gloves provide comfortable protection without adding too much friction. They aren't super grippy, but definitely an improvement over bare hands. I've worn them just under 10 times for multiple hours and they do stretch a slight bit, so definitely don't size up. Would get five stars if they were a little stickier.

Soft and sticky!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These gloves are awesome. They are soft and flexible yet stay put and stick to rock pretty well. Only thing is the sizing. I wish they had normal sizes. I got the XS, which doesn't quite cover the pinky side of my hand (not wide enough) but the S/M was too big and moved around a lot. If they just had a size Small, it would probably be perfect.

Great thin crack gloves.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thinner than some others, so depending on what you are climbing this could go either way. Construction is solid, but I expect the durability will not be as good as some thicker gloves. They do pad well for the thickness of the material. Overall, these are a very good option for a thin crack glove.

New and improved
I'm stoked with the new design of these gloves! The pinkie and thumb are reinforced but they've kept the same low profile. I also have tiny hands and they fit perfectly. Best crack gloves on the market!

Money well spent
At first it took a bit for me to spend so much when tape is so cheap but with my local gym getting cracks i found myself spending way too much time taping up. These gloves are amazing and when they wear out i will be replacing them with the same exact thing. They cover the back of my hands way better then tape while not feeling much thicker. The best part for me is the fact that instead of having to take 8 minutes taping my hands up i can just throw these on and get right into my climb.

Really good, but not great
A bit loose, but not to the point that it's a problem. The finger loops seem a bit fragile, but they haven't broken yet, probably helps that they feel a bit loose. Pretty durable, used them on some really rough rock without much damage.
