Super Alpine Down Parka - Women's

Warm+comfy and fits a bit larger than actual size.

Purchased last year, and love this parka! I was lucky enough to have gotten it on sale, much less than the new price, yikes... But I would still say it's worth it. I'm in Northern Canada, and can confirm it is very warm and comfy! Lots of pockets! I like the relaxed shape and extra roominess. However, my only little critique would be for them to add in a waist cinch, so you can tighten it up in the middle to keep more draft down. I love the double zipper, very good feature (and hard to find now) for a long jacket! I would say it fits a bit bigger than actual size, since I also have a Helium down jacket in the same size that fits smaller (almost a whole size) than this one. For reference i am 5'6' (was)190 lbs, bought XL. I have since lost weight, am now 162lbs and can confirm a large would be sufficient. I hope this helps someone:)

I'm almost 6ft tall, and athletic/muscular, which can make it challenging to find ladies sizing in outdoor clothing that fits a woman's shape. This fits the bill! A miracle - it actually fits my hips/bootie, and goes all the way to upper hips, as an alpine parka should! Half star off, which is esthetic only - in the yellow, the fabric is rather see-thru, and the inside stuffing is multicolored, and looks a little odd. Very lightweight with a stuff sack. Taking this one mountaineering!

If you are climbing in under 30F weather regularly this is the jacket for you. It is insanely warm. To warm for anything by above freezing. 5’3 130 lbs and size small fit great.

Love this jacket!

This is one of the warmest and coziest jackets ever. The hood fits over a helmet and cinches down to keep the snow and wind out.

LOVE THIS JACKET!!!

I absolutely love this jacket!! It is so incredibly warm and comfortable, while still being lightweight enough to not feel like you can't move at all. Easily handling -10F temps, the hood also is nice and big with a wonderfully soft lining. The length is perfect as it covers your hips without making you feel trapped at any point - super easy to move around in without letting any cold air escape up the sides. My only comment is that I wish the front pockets (which are huge by the way!!!) were positioned just a little bit higher - I sometimes find myself having to reach down just a bit to fish out things that may have worked their way to the bottom. Regardless, I still absolutely love it and would highly recommend!!

Light, warm & comfortable at -20°C

I have used this parka on several occasions during the start of our Yellowknife winter and always found it to be warm and comfortable despite the frigid outdoor temperature. The colour is also a bonus for increased visibility in low light around dusk or dawn. Very happy with this product and hoping it stands up to daily use over the next season.

Living in the Canadian Rockies and I can wear a t-shirt under this when I just want to grab a warm layer and head outside for a quick minute. Wore this up on in mountains as well when hiking and it did an amazing job! So glad I decided to go with this jacket as it doesnt look overly technical so I can wear it in town as well.

Fabulous warmth

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this for an upcoming climb of Kilimanjaro. I can't wait to test it out there, but so far it's handling the cold Canadian winters amazingly well. Love that it is longer than most jackets, so it keeps your bum and upper thighs warm too.
