Warm, weatherproof
Got these for a chilly January trip through Utah and they performed exactly like I had hoped. Warm, waterproof, but still having enough dexterity to function.

Awesome equipment, exceptional warranty
I got this pair as a warranty replacement for a similar style that is no longer available. They are excellent gloves and I look forward to many years of service. I continue to purchase OR equipment because it well designed and good quality, but maybe more importantly because of the Infinite Guarantee. They stand behind what they sell and that means a lot to me.

Bomber Gloves
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
These are no doubt the warmest, highest quality gloves I’ve ever used. Took them on a winter backpacking and ski mountaineering trip to Mount Washington, NH with extreme winds and negative temps and they held up no problem. These are 10/10, no question.

Good warm gloves
Kept my fingers warm while it was raining. The size runs a little small.

Missed the mark
The good? Typical OR quality that you would expect. I'm certain these are as durable as they feel and are rated by OR themselves, and for certain applications they will certainly be great. But...not for the suggested applications which are what I bought them for. I in particular wanted these for downhill and backcountry skiing, and intended to use them in general winter outdoors excursions. Where these miss in particular are sizing and warmth. I have currently in my "collection" 6 pairs of OR gloves and mitts, all of them are a size 9 Large and these fit way too tight. I have thin fingers and they're a bit too snug, both in feel and compared to all my other OR gloves. Usually, with my lanky fingers, I can slip on a pair of wool glove liners and still fit gloves on just fine, but not with the Super Couloirs. these have been relegated to -5C territory for me, whereas I was looking for a super reliable -10 to -15C glove. I was swapping to my Aksel Work Gloves when I was in -30 to -35 temps. I was honestly finding them warmer than the Super Couloirs. Waterproofing is a questionable area for me. These aren't rated as the most waterproof glove that OR and that's ok...but in the 0 to -5 range they're going to wet. So far this season, they haven't soaked through but they have wetted significantly. The cuff is a great length though, and the leashes (that also come on other glove models) are fantastic. And hey, they look good too. My recommendations are to consider sizing up from your normal size, and consider if your hands run hot or cold. Mine seem to be middle of the pack compared to my friends, so maybe these are more suited to those with naturally warmer hands. I also wonder if these were cutting off some of my blood flow. Not that they're super tight, but that snug fit certainly can't be helping me. I would have exchanged for a larger size had I not used them already. I thought when trying them on that they would be alright in the end.

Great fit. Durable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fit and comfortable with the preformed fingers. Keeps cold and wet out while keeping good dexterity. Material has proven to be pretty rugged, even when handling wood and tools.

Good Warm Ski Gloves
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) These gloves are super warm in the winter. I have a pair of heavy duty black diamond ski gloves. I find these ones warmer and more durable.

Great cold weather glove
Very warm gloves, comfortable. The pull loops work well. I dont wear gloves on the hill without leashes and these ones are comfortable and work great. I do find that the touch screen touch on these to not work as well as other gloves I have had in the past. Maybe as they soften a bit with use they will work better. The sensor touch is a major reason I love the outdoor research gloves.

Not as warm as I wanted

I put a full ski season on these gloves and they’ve held up very well. I love the wrist straps and the pull-loops on the gauntlet are great for getting them on. They just didn’t keep my hands as warm as I’d like. My fingers started getting cold when it was only mid 20s F on the mountain, which is very odd for me as I very seldomly get cold. Had to get some liners.
