Excellent Glove!

Absolutely love these gloves for mahy reasons. Firstly, the glove has an amazing fit. While it is easy to get on with the straps to help it is a snug fit that allows me to manouever very well with them. Additionally, the gloves are not so big and padded that I can't do much with my hands, however, they still keep my hands warm. My only complaint would be that it is really difficult to use my phone despite the fingertip specifically meant for using the phone. Would highly recommend these gloves.

These gloves rock

These gloves are a pair of the best gloves I've worn, and I've gone through a lot of gloves over the years. What stood out to me are two things; warmth and dryness. While hiking or training with search and rescue (volunteer) I often have my gloves on and off for tasks as well as taking pictures during hikes, what strikes me with these is that they feel dry and warm every time I put them back on after the task or picture!

I returned this product before using it

There was something wrong with the way the lining was stitched, making it impossible to insert my right thumb into the glove! Others have mentioned the difficulty of lining up the fingers' interior lining with the fingers in the shell, but that's not what's going on here, it's clearly a manufacturing defect. I had expected better from OR. It sucks that I have to pay $6.99 to send back a defective product, you'd think Backcountry would offer free returns for defects.

Perfect glove for high-output activity

I like this glove for winter hiking, snowshoeing, and even XC ski in cold weather... basically anything with active athletic energy level. Not warm enough for standing around ice-fishing in New England. They are very durable and well-made. Quite warm for how light they are, due to the combo of soft lining, leather palm, and waterproof synthetic shell. Lighter than a true ski glove, but more solid and weatherproof than a jogging glove. Nice middle ground.

Not "sure shot" At All

These gloves would be good if the lining was actually sewn to the glove better. Since it is not the lining slips independent of the outer shell removing any tactile capacity the gloves would have had and makes them difficult to get on since you have to align the lining fingers with the glove fingers. Very disappointed given how these are advertised and how good other non-lined gloves are that I have from OR

Great Pair of Gloves

Perfect gloves for winter in Brooklyn. Really pleased so far with the fit and warmth.

Surprisingly durable and warm

The glove is thinner than I expected but still surprisingly warm and durable. I bought them for my morning runs and workouts but now I wear them all the time. I lift weights with them and they show no signs of wear yet. I just wish they were a little warmer.

Lining Bunches Up - Bad for frequent on/off/on scenarios

The initial fit is good, and it seems like a good product in general. Unfortunately, if you take your glove off and try to put it back on the lining isn't attached to the outer well and it pulls out. Putting the glove back on becomes a pain. Not great for me.

Very warm, but not bulky!

Really like the warmth and comfort, but the flexibility was surprising for the warmth. Easy to pull on with the straps and the velcro cuff is great for adjusting the fit over or under jackets.
