Why We Like The Outdoor Research Trail Mix Glove

Soft and stylish, the Trail Mix Glove uses Outdoor Research's ActiveTemp technology to keep hands warm and dry when we're hiking, snowshoeing, or simply strolling around town. The grid fleece pattern creates pockets of warm air to keep our hands warm while also wicking moisture and drying quickly to limit snow, ice, and sweat from swamping our gloves and sapping heat from our fingers. The glove's lightweight build is best suited for mild temperatures, cold steering wheels, or winter walks, hikes, runs, and snowshoe excursions where we're generating plenty of body heat.

Careful with the Color

Great light gloves for being active in cold temps The Jupiter color is misrepresented in photos though, it's more of a burnt orange in person. Which is disappointing. But still great gloves.

Warm

Warm and comfortable. I use them on their own and under my OR gloves as an extra layer for skiing on cold days. Great for doing up the kids ski boots without getting cold hands.

Gloves have a great fit, allow for dexterity and are very comfortable. They can be used as a beefed up base layer glove. Very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Nice and Toasty

Planning on using these once it cools down, July in Denver is no jokes but that's also probably why they were marked down so much. They are soft, and the medium fit my hands perfectly, I'm sure these will come in handy once Fall/Winter hits. Also, the red color really pops!

Perfect campsite gloves

These are super comfy and soft, thin enough to stay agile for tying knots or any other campsite tasks, but cozy enough to stay warm. I don't think I would trust these to last super long on the trail using trekking poles all day, but that's not what these are for. They're more like glove liners or campsite gloves than proper technical gloves. But for the price, fit, comfort and style, you can't beat them. They match up perfectly with my Trail Mix 1/4 Zip Pullover, which is great for those pics/vids while you're hanging around the campgrounds. Just wish they had more colors.

I bought these gloves as a liner for my lobster claw gloves used for cycling in the winter. They are a proven winner!

Not very warm.

Was hoping for more warmth in winter running. Too bad I purchased 2 pairs. They'll sit in the drawer.
