Flat-Faced Socket

Park Tool's Flat-Faced Socket is essentially the individual sockets from the SKT-6 set so you can pick and choose the ones you need to service your fork. Similar to what suspension service centers and bike shops do by grinding down the lead in or chamfer on sockets for less rocking and a more positive connection with the fork's top caps during service, these sockets already have the work done for you. This design allows for a precise fit and lessens the chance of the socket rocking and rounding the soft aluminum top caps when performing maintenance and tuning. The Flat-Faced Socket is a shop quality tool and designed to fit common suspension fork top caps. The 3/8in drive is perfect for use with Park Tool Torque Wrenches, ensuring the proper tightening torque, or you can use a ratchet or breaker bar. The sockets are forged from tough chrome vanadium steel and chrome plated for durability and long life. Choose between the 24, 26, 27, 28, 30, and 32mm sockets. Please note that the 27mm socket is tapered for better access on Suntour suspension forks.
