Loving the slim fit!

I ordered the Pine Needle Green in size medium. I was a bit nervous since some of the reviews say to size up, and I can see why. I'm 5' 6" and 150 lbs and medium is usually my size. Thankfully the medium fits well - love the slim fit look vs the usual puffy marshmallow of a puffer jacket. I live in California so I don't need to layer too much so the size medium is a good fit. I'm sure I could have sized up to large for more room (and more layering underneath), but the medium fits perfectly with a sweatshirt or sweater underneath. Also love the soft lined pockets and detachable hood.

Loved the color and weight. However, the way the hood attached didn’t "seal" out cold air, and the bottom belled out a bit on me (5'2", size S).

LOVE this coat. Warm. Cute. love the bottom zipper and the SNAPS too. nice and warm without looking like a marshmallow. I have a small torso, i usually wear size small in patagonia tops. Ordered a M so i could layer under it. Tried a S first, i could wear it, but could not really put anything on beneath it. HIGHLY recommend this parka for those looking for a warm cozy winter parka to get through those cold days in STYLE.

I got this for my wife as a holiday gift and she is loving it so far. She's had it for a few weeks and it's been her go-to jacket for daily use given the cold weather we've been having. The length of this jacket along with the material inside makes it super warm. High quality coat with durable outer layer, expect many years out of this jacket.

It's alright
Got this jacket for my wife as a gift for Xmas. According to her, it's one of Patagonia's warmer jackets? Yet she has to add additional layers underneath to actually be warm. Although unimpressed by it's performance, it seems she still semi likes it. It's stylish looking at least.

Nice coat, bad hood

The coat fit well. It was comfortable and seemed warm and well made. I needed to return it because of the fatally flawed hood. Lacking any adjustment at the back of the head, the hood just could not be made to fit properly. Too bad.

Full coverage helped for sideways rain

After strolling the streets in Europe and observing THOUSANDS of coats, jackets, parkas, and ponchos, I really longed for a thicker collar into a large cape hood. I also liked the parkas that had the slit zippers on the side. However, I am so grateful for the inside zipper on this for passports and wallets. I loved that I could unzip the lower portion to give it more of an A-frame. And the no show snaps hiding the zipper fully. I like the color of the chocolate brown and the material on the inside and out. And I LOVE that it is sustainable in its production. It did get a grease mark early on the trip that never seemed to go away. It’s in the wash right now so hopefully recovers. I’m following label instructions.

warm and dense winter coat

I just purchased so I haven't tested in cold temps yet but I have no doubt that this is a warm coat. It hits alittle longer than other midlength coats. I'm 115 lbs and 5,2" and this hits at my knee. Its comfortable yet has a tapered silhouette in the waist and I appreciate the removable hood. The coat is packed with fill and its touch heavier than my other midlength insulated coats.

Nice jacket but short sleeves
I am average height and the sleeves are too short. Recommend only for petite people.
