Great classic down jacket

I’ve been searching for a solid, down jacket for the winter. I’m out hiking and walking my dog in St Paul, MN and I’ve used this daily for the past month. I appreciate the heavier shell as opposed to the down-sweater type options that are out there. This jacket is warm, just technical enough. Decent water resistance, but had it out on a walk in winter rain conditions and it became fairly damp. The hood is sort of bulky, but it’s nice to have in the cold and it’s removable if it gets annoying. I like that it has a zipper and snaps to provide a little flexibility with temp control- I find that if I just snap it closed, it provides some venting when on long hikes/walks. Very pleased with this purchase.
