Not the same

I have 2 of these pants in the Fall 2022 version and LOVE them. So, decided to get another pair and they are not the same at all. What's missing? Everything that made the older version amazing like the elastic waistband, the zipper pocket for keys and the hem at the ankles. The material also feels thinner in general and is too stretchy - even the fleece lining is super thin. What a shame. Guess the newer version will get stuck in the back of the drawer and I'll have to look for a new perfect pant. Any suggestions - because this isn't it?
