Love this Jacket

This is my 2nd R1 Techface and the first generation was one of my favorite jackets so this one had a lot to live up to. After just a little while of wearing it I can say it's just as good and probably a little better than the original. I really like the more substantial collar area that doesn't flop over like the first generation. The cuff and trim on the hood are also nice touches. The seabird grey color is great and love the dark green trim with bright yellow zipper pulls. It's the perfect fit to wear alone or layer underneath for move warmth. This is my favorite jacket Patagonia offers!

I have several R1 Pategonia Tech Face jackets. They are great for spring weather and the added hood really keeps you warm when the weather gets colder. I am super happy with my purchase. If you are looking for the warmer version of this jacket get the R2 Tech Face with the hood. Several of the ski patrollers I work with use it under their patrol vest and it keeps them warm.
