I was looking for a cozy oversized jacket for around the house and the campfire and this is def it. I usually wear a large in Patagonia, but decided to go down to medium for this and it was the right choice. It’s still plenty oversized, I would have been swimming in the large. Love it though and have been wearing it non-stop since it came in the mail.

Rougher and bigger than i thought

This jacket come very large and does not feel breathable at all. It comes wide at the shoulders. I might have liked it in a smaller size, but it looks rugged and is not as cozy as I thought it would be.

I'm 165 cm tall and weigh 142 lbs. I initially bought size M, but it felt too tight around my chest. Later, I tried size L, but it was so large that I couldn't even reach the pockets—they were located below my thighs! Compared to another jacket from the same brand, the L size of this one is significantly larger. I recommend buying two sizes to try and choosing the one that fits best. Unfortunately, since I purchased from overseas, I didn’t have this option, which was really disappointing. Thanks!

Runs small especially if you want to wear anything heavier underneath so size up one size--normally an XL the XXL gave that little extra-needed room. Love the color. Fit is nice even if a curvy girl. Great price!

No wonder they call this a coat not a jacket. It's warmer than I thought. I regret I didn't believe the detail "Item runs large, so we recommend sizing down for best fit." If you read this, PLEASE SIZE DOWN. Even it's too big for me, I still love this coat. I'm able to fit a Patagonia light down jacket underneath. I got a XS for my 10 year old girl, it's too big for her too, but she loves it. XS is a tight fit for me. So, size S would be perfect. The only down side is unlike the other Retro X jackets, this coat's 2 side pockets don't have zippers. So, be careful when you put things in side pockets. The chest pocket is big and very useful. I bought the red jacket and love it. So nice and roomy and warm. I can be outside in 5 degrees and it’s still nice and warm. It’s roomy enough to out a sweatshirt or sweater under it. I want another color.

I really love this jacket and the red color. It's cozy and very warm. My only caveat is how big it runs. I'm normally a medium in Patagonia and other brads, but it was gigantic. Even the small is a bit oversized but I kept it because of the color and coziness! As a reference I'm about 5/8 and 145lb, so anyone who is typically a small would absolutely find this too big.

I couldn't spend a lot of money on a jacket but I am new to living in the mountains and was definitely not prepared for how cold it can get. This jacket keeps me warm and the three pockets are such a plus! It is so warm and comfy without being too bulgy and it can keep me warm as the temps drop to 30 degrees F or below. I got a medium even though I am probably a small so that I can layer up underneath when needed.
