thin and breezy , breezy but thin

This short is constructed of a very thin material, which is nice if you’re looking for a very light weight, cool running/ activity short . There is no interior lining or brief. The pocket has a snap and is fine for a key, fob, some cash or a credit card. The pocket is too small and the shorts ( or rather, the waistband) are likely too lightweight for a cell phone. The cut is not low waisted and the legs are a breezy, generous, open cut which is nice if you have a build that tends to suck tighter and shorter shorts upwards. The fabric is delicate enough to snag and pill on barely rough surfaces like smooth wood or concrete benches. Overall , not worth full price to me, but sufficient for a reduced price.

Hot summer days hiking, here I come. Ordered a size too big, so I’m returning for one size down (getting a medium). I have thicker thighs so finding shorts that are a comfortable fit that aren’t too loose in the waist and too tight in the hips is.. a challenge. Fits higher on my hip than the multi-trails short and they’re lighter weight, which makes them perfect for my backpacking trips. I hate when the waistband rubs into my hip from my pack, so I’m excited to have a higher waisted short that is also super comfy and airy!

For the price, these shorts are not it. They are thin beyond belief and offer zero support, sturdiness, and practicality for any outdoor activities. They have a pocket that is virtually useless because you'd see through to whatever is inside it or they'd weigh down the entire short. Ended up returning.
