When the storm cycle stacks deep snow across our local lines, the Untracked Pants keep us moving confidently from first chair through last lap. We count on them during cold mornings on the skin track, wind-filled traverses, and steep descents where staying dry and unrestricted matters. Patagonia builds these pants with a supple GORE-TEX ePE fabric that gives us storm protection without the rigid feel of many hard shells, letting us move naturally no matter the terrain.

Inside, a soft flannel backer manages moisture and adds immediate comfort against baselayers. Long side vents open from the waist to above the knee to regulate heat on steady climbs, and articulated patterning maintains range of motion for touring and technical riding. Cargo pockets provide accessible storage, with an internal stretch-mesh sleeve on the right side to keep an electronic device stable. Durable scuff guards and secure gaiters protect the lower legs from sharp edges and deep snow, and a built-in RECCO reflector adds an additional layer of mountain safety.
