Why We Like The Patagonia Upstride Pant
From in bounds adventures to out, the Patagonia Upstride Pant is one of our favorites when we need a lightweight and breathable snow pant. Made with a stretchy polyester knit fabric, the Upstride Pant are weather-resistant and super breathable so we stay comfortable when we are pushing uphill. These pants are everything we need for high-exertion activities on the mountain, featuring integrated snow gaiters, zippered gussets at the cuffs with a snap adjustment, and an adjustable waist. The two zippered hand pockets store our small essentials, while the RECCO reflector gives us peace of mind when venturing into the backcountry.

Well designed and perfect

Used these on a 3 day tour, temperatures fluctuated between 45 degrees to -6 degrees F with windchill and it snowed 20” over two of the days. I wore long under wear on the cold days and boxers on the warm days, I was alway comfortable. The zippers are positioned well and operate easily without help from others. I used suspenders and feel that they may be a good addition to these pants. I would also add a back pocket to these pants if I could, there are only two deep front pockets. I really like these pants for bx skiing. A- for lack of suspenders and no back pockets. I am 5’10”, 32” waist, 30” length, and 170lbs. I got the medium size
