Why We Like The Patagonia Wind Shield Pant
By bonding a stretchy soft-shell to a Cailiene Cool fabric backing, Patagonia created the Wind Shield Pant. Thanks to this unique fabric, and the body-mapped stretchy breathable panels, these pants are able to thrive on windy ridges and trails everywhere by blocking gusts, wicking moisture, and stretching with all of your strides.

Not the Same as Previous Years

I have two pair of the Patagonia Wind Pants from previous years and love them. I purchased another pair, but the cut is clearly different. The thighs are huge and "pooch" out, much like old-fashioned horse riding jodhpurs. So bummed. Several other reviewers on various sites have noted the same change. The 2024 model just doesn't cut it, especially when it's catagorized as a tight.
