A USA-machined aerospace aluminum stem with a reinforced clamp built for 22.2mm bars
The Paul Components Boxcar Stem for 7/8-inch bars is a reinforced take on the standard Boxcar, built for riders who put real force through the cockpit on BMX, cruiser, and old-school setups. The thicker clamp body and additional stainless faceplate screws work together to distribute clamping load more evenly across the bar, so the connection stays solid without cranking the bolts past spec. It is machined from American 2024 aerospace aluminum in Chico, California, and available in anodized or polished finishes across a wide range of colors.
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"On a BMX or cruiser build where the bars see real torque, the thicker clamp and two extra stainless faceplate screws keep everything locked without overtightening."
