Best Bag in the World for Work
I bought this 5 years ago and i'm still happy with it. I carry every day my hole stuff to the office and i'm lovin' my Everyday Backpack!

Functional, stylish and waterproof
I recently purchased the Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L, and overall, I'm quite impressed with its blend of functionality, style, and waterproof capabilities. The design is sleek and modern, making it a versatile choice for daily commuting. The weatherproof materials give me peace of mind, knowing that my gear is protected from unexpected rain. The organizational features are top-notch, with customizable dividers that allow me to safely store my laptop, camera, and other essentials without them getting jostled around. However, I did encounter one issue. When the backpack is packed with heavier items, like a laptop and camera gear, it can become uncomfortable on my shoulders over extended periods. Perhaps a little more padding on the straps could enhance comfort during longer trips. Overall, I would give the Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L a solid 4 out of 5 stars. It looks great and functions well, but the shoulder discomfort with heavier loads is something to consider if you plan on carrying it for long durations.

Good for different purposes, but some flaws
I would not recommend this if you are getting this to only carry camera gear. If you don’t pack the bag well it, the gear will not be secured too well. I had a camera lens break off the camera body from a flight. It was a plastic kit lens, but still kind of disappointing. The bag is also quite heavy as well. Other than that the bag is amazing and I enjoy using it. It is constructed really well so much so that I hope it breaks on me so I can test out the lifetime warranty (probably won’t happen at least for another 5 years because I treat my gear with care). It is also really good for when you want to carry other gear with you as well as you can take out all the dividers to maximize the space when you are not carrying camera gear. For fitting binders the 30l is nice since you can have an extra compartment on the bottom separate from the main area which I use occasionally for school.

Top Notch Quality
Have been using for several months now and honestly I'm still finding little extras every week that just make this bag a pleasure to use. Small pockets line larger ones, many locations for any sized items, multiple ways to enter the large portion of the bag, multiple laptop/tablet sleeves--its a just a pure pleasure to use.

Good But Not As Good As Version 1.
Pros: Design feels a tad lighter, slimmer, and more flat/compact than version one. I like the additional organization pockets in the top zipper “sunglasses” pocket, and the magnets throughout the bag to stow the straps and open some of the pockets (inner and side). The top zipper pocket is easier to open when holding the bag with the handle and looks like it’ll last long due to the design. Cons: The laptop and tablet pockets aren’t as deep as previously which hinders the opening of the top zipper compartment pocket. The water bottle pockets are smaller/stretch out less than previously so can’t snuggly fit a Stanley or Nalgene water bottle. The inner side pockets have very little organization, and feel too tight. The shoulder straps no longer have loops to tighten easily by putting your thumbs through. Materials feel less premium and inner lining is already showing signs or wear after 2 weeks. Overall thoughts: While I appreciate the attempt to make V2 a bit lighter and slimmer as well as some of the new features like the magnets, top zip organization and the idea behind the adjustable laptop pocket cradle system, I feel like the bag has done away with all the features that made it truly unique and functional as a travel bag and every day bag. The inner side pockets are exposed while the previous version would zip up to protect your gear better and give extra storage space. The storage there seems awkward to access now and the organization pockets within the zipper pocket are small and useless other than for maybe sd cards or a battery whereas you could previously fit portable ssd’s, and many other things organized separately instead of being catchall pockets where everything just floats around in a jumble. The top zip pocket while easier to open, is harder and more awkward to access now due to the placement and how much higher up the laptop and tablet pockets seem to sit which block access. The side water bottle pockets are much narrower making it harder to fit slightly bigger bottles (that fit fine in v1). The straps are harder/more typical to adjust now due to the lack of thumb loop. The inner lining materials while probably lighter weight, feel less sturdy and less premium now and already have scratches after two weeks of basic use which the v1 didn’t show after years. It’s still a good product that offers features a lot of other bags don’t and I appreciate the designers trying to innovate or improve, but this feels like an instance of messing with a good thing for the sake putting out a new design. While it functions as a daily carry for work purposes, I don’t think I’ll be able to use this as a weekend/travel bag for filming (gopros and accessories in side pockets, and clothes, hammock etc in main compartment) as I did with the V1 mainly due to the inner side pockets having done away with most of the organizational storage and like the top zipper pocket, being awkward to access. I’ve found myself more frustrated with using and accessing pockets in this bag in 2 weeks than I ever was for years with the v1. Still a solid bag depending on usage and if it’s your first everyday backpack.

Stylish and Versatile
The Peak Design Everyday Backpack 30L is a highly versatile, stylish, and functional bag designed for photographers, travelers, and daily commuters. Packed with thoughtful features and superior build quality, it excels in both form and function. Design and Build Quality The backpack stands out with its modern, minimalist aesthetic and premium materials. It’s constructed from weatherproof 400D nylon canvas with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating, ensuring your gear stays safe even in challenging weather. The robust hardware, including durable zippers and magnetic latch closures, adds to its premium feel. Storage and Organization The 30L capacity is spacious and ideal for carrying a variety of gear, from camera equipment to everyday essentials. Key features include: Customizable Dividers: The backpack includes origami-inspired FlexFold dividers, allowing you to organize your belongings efficiently. These are particularly useful for photographers who need to protect and separate camera bodies, lenses, and accessories. Multiple Access Points: The bag offers quick access through a top flap and side panels, enabling you to retrieve items without fully opening the bag. Expandable Storage: The MagLatch system allows the main compartment to expand or compress based on your load. External Carry Straps: Perfect for securing bulky items like tripods or jackets. Laptop Sleeve: A padded, easy-access sleeve fits laptops up to 16 inches, along with a smaller compartment for tablets or documents. Comfort and Fit The backpack is designed with comfort in mind, featuring padded, adjustable shoulder straps and a breathable back panel. Its ergonomic design distributes weight evenly, making it comfortable to wear even for extended periods. However, when fully loaded, it can feel bulky, especially for users with smaller frames. Key Features Weatherproof: Keeps gear safe in inclement weather. Modular System: Works seamlessly with Peak Design accessories. Secure: Zippered side panels and anti-theft features offer added peace of mind. Versatile Use: Suitable for photography, travel, commuting, or day-to-day activities. Drawbacks Price: At a premium price point, it may be too expensive for casual users. Weight: The bag itself is slightly heavy, even when empty. Limited Depth: The slim profile can restrict carrying bulkier items. Verdict The Peak Design Everyday Backpack 30L is an exceptional choice for those who value durability, organization, and a sleek design. It’s especially well-suited for photographers and travelers who need quick access to their gear and robust protection. While the price and weight might deter some, its thoughtful features and versatility make it a worthwhile investment for serious users.

Best bag I've used
Having this bag close to a year now, I have no regrets! Great in functionality and practicality, customization, build quality and looks. Everyone should get one! While sometimes I wish that I could have the 30 litre, the 20 litre version is suffice for my needs.
