Unique in its own way
Me and my partner share this bag. It´s perfect por her height (165cm) and a little short for me (185cm) if I use the hipbelt. The design will take some hikes to master it if you are used to the "normal" hiking bags, but it´s on point. The best: the shoulder pads and straps, the distribution of the space and full back-opening. The worst: it lacks 1 small pocket in the inside and if you go throught spiky bushes the side-pockets will get damaged.

My outdoors self found a bag!
I backed the kickstarter and it came. I already had the everyday zip but this bag is a big larger and provides space for my life out and about in the wilderness or going to pick up groceries. The highlight is the harness and the deep bottle pouches on the sides super comfortable and great storage!

Fantastic backpack
Bought it a couple of months ago. Using it for a daily work bag / commuting and for weekend outdoor stuff with kids, snowboarding, hiking, etc. Love it. I wasn't expecting to like the quick open front stuff pocket so much, it's great for shoving snacks, jackets, gloves etc. Water bottle holders are nice and deep.

Lots of pockets, and easy access
Used the PD Outdoor Backpack 25L for a week skiing. In 20 degrees minus it is annoying that you can't use the chest-strap without taking your skigloves off. The strap system is too tiny and very difficult to use with big gloves on.

Some stuff is amazing, some not as much.
There are some general awesome features on this product. All other PD products I've bought have been amazing. The general build quality is pretty high. Zippers feel awesome and some cool details are generally on the pack. Pack works very well with SMedium cube. Sidepockets are awesome - they are unbelievably huge! Shoulder straps are fairly comfortable, wide. Feels good, though, very warm in even when used for snowshoing in -20dgrC. The hook system for the chest support is rubbish and practically impossible to open with one cold and wet hand or when wearing gloves. Same goes for the attachment strings which uses the same system. The roll top is a reasonable solution, but does not stay safely shut when riding bumpy singletrack. The hipbelt is hard to tell. Because, the fit of the backpack is for rather short backs. It's definately not suitable for tall scandinavians. The hip belt sits mid-abdominal even when the backpack is hanging so low, it's bouncing a lot around. So, as a day working pack it's reasonably good, but it's a bit of a stretch from a proper outdoor pack than can handle actual severe usage without squeaking and stuff you can operate when youre wet and cold. Which the outdoors tend to be :)

Great Backpack
There is not much to say - it's a great backback. Weight is OK, tons of functionality, high quality materials. Perfect for hikes or normal travel. In combination with the camera cube it's perfect. I just used it recently to bring a lot of small gear for a LAN-party.

Lots of space and features
I got the 25L bag as part of the kick starter. Since then I’ve used it for both hiking and multi-week work trips. The bag has a surprising amount of space but still packs down tight. I fit my camera cube, clothes for a week+, toiletries, and 2 laptops in. It was tight, but it all fit in an overhead space on planes. I compliment the backpack with the 7L sling, which fits my book and snacks for traveling. Overall, I love it. It is roomy and comfy, key points for me. I do have to say that it feels a bit too complicated at times. I also wish the attachment points for the various straps were a bit easier to clip into. They kinda lay flat and make it tough to quickly clip in.

Interesting
I purchased this bag to use for a travel kit for photography. While I can certainly configure it for a small kit, I do find it to be a bit heavy when adding the packing cubes (ie. the medium and the xxs) and my 16" MacBook Pro. Additionally, I am a 6'4" man with a somewhat athletic build and broad shoulders and find that the shoulder straps and quite tight and small. I will use the bag around town mostly slinging it on one shoulder but most likely not use it for any long trips requiring it to be on both shoulders. Construction is excellent as with all Peak Design Products.

Typical Peak Design and that’s a good thing!
I bought both the 25 and 45l back packs on kickstarter and they’ve both been fantastic - great design with real innovations around accessing contents of the bag and the external storage. Super comfortable to wear for hours and quality of build that I have no doubt will last me many years.
