Ok
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Gloves fit well, slight rubbing between the index finger and thumb, more padding on the metatarsal, overall fine.

I keep buying these because they fit well (although they run small and I need an XXL) and they are pretty comfortable. But the durability is nil. They last me a. Few.onyjs, amd that's even with rotating the colors. The colors fad badly, and the material breaks down. You can do better, Pearl Izumi.

Downgrade
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
This version of the ELITE Glove is a downgrade from the previous model. First off, sizing has definitely changed. I comfortably wear a Small in my multiple pairs of the old ELITE Glove- while the Small of these is much more tight. Also the wrist opening is much more narrow- even after sizing up to a Medium- so much so you can't even fully close the velcro. Padding wise, they're ok- but I think my previous ones are more comfortable. Honestly not sure what Pearl Izumi was thinking here.

Not built to last

Initially, I liked these gloves. The padding is OK. However, the color fades rapidly, and the velcro loses its stick. These weren't meant to last more than a few months.

Fits like cycling gloves should.
- Familiarity:

These gloves have just the right amount of gel padding to mute the vibration from the bars. They fit snugly but are comfortable. 2 pull rings make removal easier.

Velcro doesn't work; color fades
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Really poor quality. First, this is the smallest and most non-operational velcro closure I've ever used. It barely reaches across the wrist. After little use the velcro starts pulling away from the flap that it is sewn onto. My gloves were red for maybe 5 washes. Now they look pink - major color fade. I'm a lifelong PI fan. It's like these were made by a completely different company, that doesn't understand how cycling gloves need to work and also doesn't understand style. Total betrayal of previous PI standards. I wonder where they were made - I have some guesses.

Odd fit
I regularly use PI gloves, but this pair has a strange fit. The hand portion is about right, but the wrist opening is very small. The velcro strap barely reaches the mating portion, and I do not have large wrists. These are not usable and will be returned.

Low quality
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:

I've had PI gloves for years. These are the worst quality I've ever had. The padding is very thin. The wrist straps are very flimsy. If it wasn't backcountry, I would think they were counterfeits. Very disappointed.
