Great shorts

I wanted a pair of navy padded shorts and they are pretty hard to find. I was wary of these because I saw the review about the padding going the wrong way. I got a pair and rolled the padding a few times to lessen the fold. Yesterday, I wore them on an 11 mile trail ride. The shorts rode very well. I didn’t have any issues with the padding going where it shouldn’t. The padding felt very nice and cushy☺️. I loved it. I am an experienced mountain biker and these shorts felt amazing. The shorts were definitely high enough on my waist. I am a small person but I wear mediums usually in padded bike shorts. Added benefit, they made my butt look fabulous!

Horrible fit

Bought these Pearl Izumi shorts for a multiday bike tour. The chamois appeared to be sawn in too tight, but I thought the shorts will work and didn't return them. Well, they didn't. Chamois creased exactly in the same place as the anatomical crease. It was extremely uncomfortable and I'm throwing the shorts out. I won't buy biking shorts again without trying them on.

Not bad for the price point. It was pretty comfortable but I do believe they could have used a little more material around the wait area. I felt like my jersey was not completely covering the top of the shorts in the front, basically the shorts are too low.
