Is Blue the New Black?
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
The product description says black, the tag on them when they arrived said black, but these were definitely dark blue and not black. Not a great look with all the black bibs I own, but didn't seem worth the effort to return them--even though they're a lot for what they are... They fit fine without too much slipping if you pull them up nice and high, but past 20 miles the material started to bunch on the back of my knee. I'm also not sure why these have two relatively uncomfortable seams instead of one, but they do. It seems like this is a cycling accessory that should be easy for brands to get right, but no one really does.

Keeps the sun off but uncomfortable
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- XS

I found these true to size. However the band around the top is so thin it rolls up and feels like a tourniquet cutting into my thighs, but at least they don't slide down. Also because the material is so slick my shorts slide up. However it does keep the sun off and my legs don't feel overheated. I've ridden up to 85° now but I don't think I could wear them in any warmer weather. The jury is still out on whether I will continue to wear them.

Why don't these come in XXS? LOL!

Somehow, an XS is still a little large on my legs. I have relatively thin, but muscular legs, so I always have problems finding knee and leg warmers that don't look baggy on me. This XS fits well enough, all considering. The leg gripper works well and stayed up for my 50-mile gravel ride. It's nice to have a super-thin knee warmer to just take the edge off a slightly chilly day. I'll definitely be using these in the fall and spring!
