Why We Like The Hirundos Harness
The Hirundos streamlines comfort, giving us complete control on the wall while still avoiding dead leg when hanging. Petzl's flexible frame tech reduces weight along with pressure points, resulting in a harness that doesn't burden us on the redpoint push and lets us twist freely through the contortionist crux.

This harness is lightweight, comfortable, and the gear loops are sufficiently sized. The major issue with this (and other Petzl harnesses) is that the gear loops are prone to breaking because they are encased in a thin fabric that holds them to the harness. If this fabric rubs against rock at all, like climbing in a chimney, it can easily wear through and cause you to lose all of your gear (potentially dangerous on long complex multi-pitch routes or for your belayer below if you drop gear on them). Although, this harness ought to be adequate if you are only doing gym/sport climbing that won't put your harness in contact with the wall at all. I've reached out to Petzl to ask for a replacement harness, but they won't stand by their product.
