Pingora Vivid 35L Backpack

Bigger days, bigger vibes. For longer adventures the Vivid 35 keeps you moving fast, looking good, and feeling safe.

Building on the Vivid 27, the Vivid 35 brings a roll top entry and internal helmet carry options. An added internal wire frame back panel increases its load carrying capabilities with minimal weight penalty. Soaking up the sun on a party tour, or on long days in the mountains, this pack keeps you moving fast, light and looking good.

Designed specifically for safety and avalanche tool access, the Vivid 35 was designed as a do-it-all pack for backcountry ski and split boarding pursuits. Our avalanche tool and safety pocket uses and EYL luggage zipper from YKK, especially designed for durability and abrasion resistance – the first backcountry pack to employ this zipper. We preserved quick access to essential avalanche rescue tools and designed the pack around this feature.

Love this pack for comfort but…

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I love the round nature of this bag. It rides so comfortable and barely notice the weight it carries so well. My 3 gripes: - no hydration hose exit (can diy one myself) - the fancy buckles are a little over engineered and don’t buckle when there’s snow in them which is all the time on storm skiing days - I can’t figure out the split board carry?? Where are the top straps? Can anyone help with a photo upload of this??

I am extremely picky when it comes to backpacks, and I am thoroughly impressed by the 35L Vivid. The main things I look for in a pack: -Ergonomic fit, -Well-designed pockets -utility in variable situations -Reinforced construction on common wear points Things I despise in backpacks: -black hole pack, minimal exterior pockets -one entryway -limited use pack The Vivid fit, shoulder straps, and adjustment points are comfortable and can adjust the pack quite well regardless of the load or clothing you're wearing. Feels comfortable all day. pockets are a subjective point for everyone, but I like the easy access pockets on the shoulder straps, hip belt, and top of the pack. It keeps things like, headlamps, in-reach, keys, sunglasses, and sunscreen in easy-to-use spots and out of your main compartment. The designated AVY sectional is very well thought out and is extremely quick to access. The pockets divide out your gear well, making it easy to access and keep track of. That's what counts when you're in a snowstorm and need to keep things organized. The roll-top AND back access are my favorite features on this pack. it can easily pack 35-40 L when fully maxed out. you can also compress it down to (what feels like 25L) and still have a structured pack. Pingora went out of their way to reinforce the back of the pack with foam, and material around the ski straps. I used my pack at least 100 days this year. there is no sign of wear on any points. I see this pack lasting for years to come. I don't often write reviews but this is one of my favorite backpacks I've used and it has truly enhanced my backcountry skiing/splitboarding/snowmobile experience.
