Gravity works Water filter system 13 days voyager canoe trip the pas Winnipeg to jenpeg Winnipeg 460 Km clean water, dirty water as much as 4 times a day it filtered water as long as it was back flushed every time in dirty water it worked very fast and very efficient NO MORE PUMPING 4 lts. in no time I love this system

Gravity Works in the Grand Canyon
Took the new filter with me on a trek down Kaibab trail in the Grand Canyon. Was able to get clean water from a steady stream down by Phantom Ranch. Nice and cool, clean and crisp is how I would describe it. Then, I used it again half way back up the trail at a location that had rain water collected in big barrels that you could use with a filter and consume. Otherwise, it was not potable. Love my gravity works, can’t wait to use it this summer camping.

Great filter. Lightweight, simple, works
Great filter. Lightweight, simple, works well. Could use a pre-screen to keep large particles out of the filter, though.

Unreliable filter
The filter stopped working on our 2nd trip. Super disappointing. It went from slow to totally stopped up over the course of 4 days. The lake we were filtering from was a bit silt-y, but we let it settle so I'm really surprised that stopped it. We tried all the tricks recommended but none worked. I really wanted this filter to work. And it was awesome for our first trip. But, this is the second one that has failed us, so I'm not sure it's a reliable bet.

Great product
I have had this filter system for well over 4 years now. I am still using all the original parts and filter. This is a great resource to have for backpacking and for scouting. I have used this system to filter many, many liters for over 10 people on backpacking trips. I am just now considering getting a new filter.

I have used these filters
I have used these filters for years and it is always my go-to for group camping. It is even easy enough and durable for Scouts, And if it can handle a bunch of 12-13 year olds using it ,and it lasts for years- well.... enough said

Solid
Works great. Just replaced the filter for the first time after probably 8 years. I think the foam ends are unnecessarily bulky. Great product that revolutionized filtering water!

save the styro, buy plastic bottles water!
still includes the useless styro floats that they said three years ago they would eliminate for ESG reasons!
