Why We Like The Fornix MIPS Helmet
POC’s Fornix MIPS Helmet is a staple among our ranks across freeriders, park skiers, and all-mountain skiers alike. Creature comforts include a goggle retainer clip, venting chimney, and adjustable fit. The MIPS protection system redistributes rotational energy from an impact in the event of a crash with an integrated liner that moves independently from the shell.

Hi all, I usually get smith helmets, but was looking for a replacement to a helmet that cracked at the end of last season. I thought I'd save some $$ and give POC a try, since I know they make good gear for biking. This helmet is pretty minimal I'd say, basically a skate helmet with a little bit of material around the ears, and not very comfortable. the padding on the top of the head area is just a thin web of material. The ear flap came out and now it won't go back in. I'm fairy disappointed and would return it if I could but I think by the time i actually opened it and tried it on the return window had closed.
