Why We Like The Otocon Race MIPS Helmet
Heavy protective equipment is a thing of the past. We want a lightweight feel when we are ripping through the trails, and the full-face Otocon Race MIPS Helmet delivers just that. A durable polycarbonate shell combines with a dual-material liner to produce a lighter helmet with added protection. Featuring MIPS Integra technology, a break-away peak, and a built-in NFC chip, safety is a top priority with the Otocon. Comfort is also a top priority, and with strategically placed vents and a retention adjustment system, finding the perfect fit without restricting airflow is quick and easy.

Such a bummer
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer

I love my POC Kortal and Obex… but I can’t stand this helmet. I run a M/L 55-58 in the Kortal and Ovex— Amazing fit; thought it would be the same for the Otocon but not even close. This helmet is so tight to get on. You have to hold the chin straps out and boa tensioner while you put the helmet on otherwise they tuck and fold on themselves up inside the helmet. I’ve never had such an issue and disappointment with a helmet in all my years of moto and mtb. Put your $350 towards a better helmet.

Comfy and lite
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I was using a kortal race (still have) but wanted a little extra protection so I upgraded to the full face. It's nice and lite and can ride all day with it. If POC fits you well, it's worth it!
