Perfect
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Stem is perfect for upgrade and fit with Di2 systems. Wire exits hole in stem and goes under stem cap. Then out back of handle bare area. Perfect for bikes that route Di2 wire through top tube. Otherwise it’s a basic aluminum stem. Fit my R5 no issues and provided the adjustment I was looking for.

Heavy and 42mm stack
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This is not a great stem so you get what you pay for. It's heavy and has a 42mm stack height. I really wanted 40mm stack height which is what most road stems are. The top cap is very strange and covers up a small junction hole in the top of the stem. I'm not sure what this hole is for because the directions don't show and there is no English section to explain it. It's just not as good of a stem as I'd hoped for. Don't buy it unless you have seen it before. It's not worth it.
