Not used a bag like it!
This bag is great for colder weather and I've slept in it wearing almost nothing in sub zero temperatures (hood tightened up, with just my nose exposed) and in warm temperatures (over me as a duvet). It's amazingly comfortable in both conditions. It seems really breathable as fabric while still warm, and compresses quite compact, while not taking too long to repuff. This is the most I've ever spent on a sleeping bag but no regrets. Wish Rab made duvets too!

When I go winter camping I wake up early. Used to be because I was cold. With the Ram Ascent 900 Sleeping Bag I woke up at 8:30 am!!! That never happens. This was my first morning after my first night out with this bag. I was at 4,000 feet and it was plenty cold.

I recently used this bag on Mt Baker. The temp was only in the low 30’s, but the bag performed as well as all my Rab gear. I sleep a little cool so it was perfect. I suspect it would be fine down at least another 20 degrees if not more. A size regular worked fine for me and had plenty of room.

Expensive, but worth it
After a cold night camping with two sleeping bags inside each other I took the plunge and got this expensive bag. Sleeping with no layers on at 0 degrees was very comfortable, and the sleeping bag is soft and voluminous in such a way that makes it warm, extremely comfortable yet, somehow, surprisingly breathable too with no sweating. I don't know if the conditions happened to match my size and the bag perfectly, but it's the best few nights sleep I've ever had in a tent. I look forwards to using the Accent 900 to survive the forthcoming winter fuel crisis in style, and would like to ask Rab if they might also consider releasing a Rab@home duvet range?

yeh love it. little bit
yeh love it. little bit of down has leaked but an employee assured me this is normal. aside from that all good. comfy, lovely feel and weight to it. warm, adjustable hood and neck area which is muy beneficial. overall would recommend at the moment. a slight smell coming off it which i do hope is the down and not any chemicals from the special water repellant chemicals but i shouldn't be using it for too much longer so i'm not overly concerned about that for now. thanks Rab!
