It's THIN.

This vest is thin (as the title states, lol). Ostensibly, it's a 700 down fill? Very little loft. Maybe because it's recycled down? Idk. I'm not going to return it, I'll put it to use, but i wouldn't buy it a second time. I got this for a good sale price-had I paid full price, this item would DEFINITELY get returned. Also, runs a bit small, perhaps because it's 'stretch'? I purchased a M as I like my outerwear a bit loose & it sort of tight w a hoodie underneath. No coat hook tab, no inside pocket. Construction feels a bit cheap. For something that retails for over 200$, it should have an interior zip pocket. It does have zippers on the outer pockets, so +1 for that. All in all, this isn't all that.

Excellent quality, very warm and light to wear. Only minor disappointment is there is no coat hook tab. Otherwise love the jacket and will return to Rab in future.

Supersoft and cosy
This stretch down vest is like wearing a big warm hug. The outer fabric is a lovely matt finish, soft to touch and enclosing a thick layer of down. It's a perfect vest for working from home to ward off the autumn chills - but much better as an outer layer for cool dry walks. The stretch fabric cuts out any cold spots and looks great. I would suggest that it is sized a little large, but it depends on what you intend to wear under it.
