Downpour Eco Jacket - Women's

Not Waterproof!

I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

The jacket leaks even in the slightest rain, it's not even a tropical downpour. We got caught in a light rain in the city while walking for 10-15 minutes from the hotel to the cafe. And the part around the shoulders and on the back, behind the neck, where the raindrops directly hit the surface of the jacket, got completely soaked. Not through the seams, but through the material of the jacket itself. I'm extremely disappointed because I bought this jacket for my wife, and we both understand that she's not protected in it, even in light rain. It's doubly strange that I also have a Rab Downpour jacket, but not the Eco version, it's the Downpour Plus 2.0. And it's completely fine; we were in the same conditions, and my jacket didn't get wet. Both jackets were bought at the same time, and this was their first outing. I conclude that the Eco version is quite unsuccessful. An additional drawback is the water-permeable zipper. You constantly have to remember to close the jacket completely and fasten the snaps so that rain doesn't wet you through the zipper. It's also not very convenient. In my opinion, it's better to add a little more money and buy the Downpour Plus 2.0 version

I really do like this

I really do like this coat, I use it for hiking and dog walking. Overall it keeps the rain out and the wind however I feel the fit is designed for a particular body type and so not as comfortable as I’d like. It does the job and looks good so would recommend

Lovely jacket , maiden outing

Lovely jacket , maiden outing on Saturday windy nearly blown of feet driving icy rain/hail did 10k walk and bone dry underneath.

Perfect fit, give some room

Perfect fit, give some room for a nice thick jumper if needed for winter leaving the jacket to be useful for hotter and cooler weather. Fantastically waterproof. Highly reccomend!

Just returned from a walk

Just returned from a walk in pouring rain and am perfectly dry. Which is more than I can say for my dog!

Not Waterproof!

I have worn this jacket about half a dozen times. My clothing underneath gets soaked all round the back of the neck and the left shoulder. The jacket leaks like a sieve!! The front zip is also a nightmare as it is fitted too closely to the flap and catches the flap when zipping or unzipping.

This is a good lightweight

This is a good lightweight waterproof. Rolls up small to fit in a rucksack and good quality waterproofness!

Colour not the same as

Colour not the same as the shop so am returning. Returning process v complicated. All in all wish I hadn’t bothered.

Stylish for the type of

Stylish for the type of jacket but velcro sleeve fastening seems a bit basic.
