Very comfy and warm. The non slip works well. It would be great if a chair kit was available

Great bit of kit
Really pleased with this mat. Relatively easy to inflate and helped keep me really warm and didn't roll off. Only down side is trying to repack and get the final bits of air out. It's awkward enough pratacing at home but with cold hands and confined space of a 2-man tent almost impossible. Going to be interesting to see if my 14-year old manages it on is DofE Expedition

Very good. Wished the sleeping mat would be easier to fold and pack again after use. Apart from that very good, warm and comfortable. Bit pricey, but that’s what one has to pay for this sort of comfort and warmth.

I bought this mat to replace my Exped downmats which have all been great, but now are worn out. The pump system is similar for inflation but massively better for deflation on the Ionosphere. The mat is a similar weight, but feels much more robust. It’s coming to the Karakoram for 3 weeks soon, so it will be interesting to see if it as warm (hope so!) It’s definitely just as comfortable. So far, I’m really pleased.

My goto mat for all year round sleep
I own, like most outdoor enthusiasts, a number of sleeping mats, from simple closed-cell foam to self-inflating, and the various generations of inflatable mats that have appeared in recent years. So when I saw Rab produce a mat, it had to be tried. I have now slept on it twice (once on the top of Eel Crag - Lake District, and once local lowland). I would now rate it alongside my previous favourite mats, from other manufacturers. I always use either a foil mat or closed cell mat under my inflatable mats to keep them away from puncture risks, and did the same with this mat, so it is a fair comparison. I can "feel" the warmth reflected back from the T.I.L.T layer - which matches the equivalent technologies of SeaToSummit and Thermarest. The extra thickness and raised sides make for a very comfortable sleep, and the surface of the mat works well whether you are in a sleeping back or directly on the mat under a quilt. I would likely not use this whilst bivying, as I like to put my mat inside my bivy bag, but for all tent camps, its now top of my list.
