Catapulting Race Face forward into the world of carbon fiber wheels, the Next R 27.5in Boost Wheel hits the marks for snappy acceleration, stiff responsiveness, and robust strength in the face of enduro hungry hard-hitters. Aiming to please the enduro rider's cravings for wider and plusher tires, the rim is designed with a wide, 31-millimeter internal width to allow girthy wide-trail tires and lower tire pressures that sink tread into loose corners. Carbon fiber manages to capture the perfect balance between strength against deflection on rocks and roots, and vibration absorption, so trail chatter is minimized on sketchy loose sections, and your wheel asserts stiff responsiveness when you're weaving through tight corners.

The Next R features 4.5-millimeter offset in its lacing, allowing for improvement in the balance of spokes and wheel stiffness, lacing up the rim with 28 spokes in a 3x pattern that lends itself to exceptional wheel strength and reliability that holds up when the trail gets chunky and harsh. The rims are laced up to a Vault hub with three-degree engagement and six double-toothed pawls that engage three at a time. The three-pawl engagement keep Vault hubs engaging super quickly for immediate acceleration on race days when you're chomping at the bit to start strong as soon as you start hammering on the pedals.

Each wheel comes ready to roll tubeless-ready, so you can easily run lower tire pressure allowing for maximum tread contact to track you through sluff, and a huge increased resistance to flats on the trail. The Next R wheels are topped off with glossy water-transfer logos that capture the perfect balance between stealthy and classic, perfect for pairing with your carbon steed. This particular wheel is Boost spacing only, available with either a SRAM XD or standard Shimano/SRAM driver body on the rear wheel.
