4 years down, onto more!
These aren’t my usual every day shoe, but have worn them for multiple days in a row and have no complaints. I just need to clean and condition my leather a little more often, but even with my slight neglect these are holding up crazy well, and are perfectly molded to my feet.

Love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] beautiful boots that are made in America. I'm usually between size 8.5 & 9. ordered 9. fit is good. thought they'd require some breaking in but first wear was most of the day with no issue. lasting quality boots that won't be in a landfill in a couple of years. good collaboration Faherty!

Too Long but it’s worth it!
A gift from my boss! These boots are head turners, my boss and I were headed overseas and he’s walking toward me in the Airport, the rich color of the boots jumped out at me. Just beautiful, well my farewell gift was my very own pair. 2 1/2 years later and they look like old money!!! I will get the black ones next year.

Not for people with high arches!!
I got these used, otherwise I would have returned them. They were essentially brand-new. The craftsmanship is great, the leather quality is great, I like that they're made in the US. I have a very high arch and a narrow foot. The tongue of the boot only opens out like an inch- I couldn't get my foot in them due to my arch. I've never seen a tongue like that- it basically is just there for decoration rather than to offer any adjustment. Rather than try to resell, I slit the tongues along the side stitching open about 3 inches to be able to get my foot in them. That worked. However, as I said, I have a very narrow foot, and they felt like they were cutting off my circulation, they were SO tight. I bought my usual shoe size (8) and have never had to deviate from that size. Additionally, the stitching at the bottom of the tongue is RIGHT where my arch is highest. After days of "leather stretching spray" (which I found out is just isopropyl alcohol and water...) and putting them on for as long as I could stand (maybe only 15 minutes at a time) they have now gotten into a somewhat wearable state. I will concede that they DID stretch out along the sides, but I am still fighting with the stitches along the arch. Because that is stitched, I don't know how much that will stretch upwards. I want to love them. Maybe I will grow to love them as I wear them more. But had I known any of this- that I literally had to cut the leather by 3 inches to get my foot in it- I would not have bought them and I would have returned them had I bought them new. I'm going to keep trying because I have them already, and now can't resell them because I cut the leather. I hope my review helps someone else with a high arch like me- be warned! I was able to make it work, but I wish I didn't have to do that.

Durable for the long run!
I purchased a a pair of these 8 years ago and they are still going strong. With proper care over the years they still look as good as new all this time later. They do get some nice patina where the laces cross, and have some character from being worn. They are my go to boots on most days, with my black pair being the other. They are also 8 yrs old and going strong. Love these boots!

Best boots ever!
Bought these boots for horseback riding, but wear them everywhere! Best boots I’ve ever owned. IF I ever wear them out, I’ll get another pair immediately. Comfortable, true to size, can wear them all day long and then some.

Best boot I own!
Got these in amber harness wide width, my second of three pair of RW’s and truly my favorite boot ever! The fit is perfect. Wide actually fits like a wide (unlike my moc toes). Not to mention a truly beautiful boot. Wish black was also offered in wide. I am disappointed more styles aren’t, there are many more I’d like to own!

Love these boots!
I finally took the plunge in buying these a bit before Christmas 2022 (about 6 months from the time of posting this) after saving up funds for quite awhile. Absolutely no regrets. I've been wearing these almost daily since I got them for going out, or for work (long days of standing and some walking), and they've helped to correct some foot damage/pain some cheap tennis shoes caused. Worth it for that alone, and they still seem to have a very solid and supportive sole unlike the tennis shoes that barely lasted six months. I feel a lot of people would shy away due to the higher price tag, but when it comes to a product that costs a bit more but will last much, much longer and can be resoled and fixed up it's definitely worth it. Less money lost, and less trash in the landfill. Not to mention they're a U. S. made shoe. One thing I would suggest though, that if you do go with the boots be sure to measure both feet! If you can make it into a store that would be the best scenario since they have a few ways to measure and possibly try on the boots for feel, but if that isn't possible measure both feet and go with the bigger of the two to avoid one being too tight and rubbing in weird places. Don't go by the "standard" shoe sizing as that can vary. Also keep in mind they will be pretty snug for a bit until they've been fully broken in. After that it's a very comfy fit with a bit of wiggle room depending on how thick your socks are. All in all would recommend. Love my boots and I'm sure I will for years to come!

6 years and counting!
I remember it took some doing to break these boots in but it was well worth it. They fit like a glove and 6 years in, I still wear them all the time. They’re due to be resoled but still have good years left in them. The entry price seems steep, but it’s a bargain for all the miles you’ll get out of them.

Left boot still hurts
I bought my Iron Ranger boots two weeks ago and have been slowly breaking them in. I purchased the D width as the B felt too tight in the tow box. The right boot is now very comfortable but the left boot is very painful. The gusseted tongue press into the front of my foot making walking very uncomfortable. This was something that I did not feel when I walked around the store in the boots. I will give it another week but I'm not sure how long I can last with this pain.
