Why We Like The Hellion Elite Cycling Shoe
The Hellion Elite Cycling Shoe is for novice and advanced riders alike who want to get out on the trails with serious pedal control and grip. Rain or shine, these shoes are designed to offer pedal connection and sensitivity thanks to a DST 4.0 Max Grip rubber outsole. Shock absorption and support, however, comes from the EVA midsole, and anti-abrasion toe and heel protection guards against impact. Breathability and comfort come from the shoe's lightweight microfiber upper and an antibacterial mesh lining so we can keep riding without the elements interfering.

They look nice is all I can say positive about these shoes as to within a few minutes my feet were numb. I don't believe a 1/2 size up would do it. They were so narrow in the toes I felt was wearing women's or kid's shoes. Returned and will go another route.

Sticky!

The Helion Elites are king! Sticky rubber, stiff, ample padding, these shoes have it all. These are casual enough to wear to the brewery after your ride and built with a performance driven design. After multiple seasons of use there has been zero durability issues. The initial break in period can feel slightly uncomfortable due to how rigid the shoe is, but after just a few rides the shoes will fit like a glove! If you haven't tried a pair of Ride Concepts they are well worth the investment.

I never got to ride in these beauties because when i tried them on and fell in love with them, i also realized they are for flat pedals. They seem like really excellent construction, comfortable and solid so I'm trying a different shoe from Ride Concepts and hope I like it as much as these living room warriors.
