Why We Like The Rising Brookie Net
Another hybrid in the Rising lineup, the Brookie Net not only lets us land brookies, but also browns, 'bows, bass, and panfish. Bigger than the regular Brookie net, the 24-inch handle gives us extra reach, which is perfect for personal watercraft, like a kayak, skiff, float tube, or drift boat. This net features a moderate-sized hoop with measurement indicators at 10, 12, 14, and 15 inches to keep us honest and a rubber net bag for a more fish-friendly catch and release. This net is perfect for the angler who doesn't need the larger hoop of the Lunker Net but still wants a longer handle for extra reach. Rising nets are made in Francis, Utah—just down the road from Backcountry.
