In terms of support, the X-IUM houses a 100% carbon cuff for better fore/aft stability while keeping the total weight of the boot at a minimum. A plastic heel counter offers Active Control heel support, which works with the locking Speedlace system and the Lock Down foot wrap to deliver a secure and responsive fit. A precise fit is the single most important factor in ensuring comfortable feet during those long training days out on the Nordic track, so Rossignol integrated a thermo-adjustable liner, so you get a fit that conforms to your own individual foot shape.
