Nice design
Very nice design with some security. I do ride an adventure bike and do off-road quite a lot- I'm a bit concerned about dirt infiltrating the lock so I'll cover the lock with duct tape until I need to release it.

Great upgrade idea on the original mount
This mount holds the pax just as well as the original, but it gives you the peace of mind that your pax will be there when you return from stepping away from your bike.

New purchase impressions
It is winter and I am prepping for spring riding with the purchase of the lockable mount for the rotopax can I got for Christmas. I have not been able to use it on the bike yet, however the mount is clearly very solid and I trust will last a lifetime. I was slightly disappointed that the locking handle is taller than the recess in the can, not leaving a flush surface for strapping other items to the can. I will be ordering the standard handle as well so that times when i am not worried about a locking handle I can have a flush surface to strap things to the can.
