Great midweight hiker

No break-in period required for me - these were comfortable out of the box. It's taken me half a life to realize my feet are on the wider side - so I now look carefully at descriptions and reviews. This toe box is comfortable and accommodating with a medium-thickness hiking sock and the boot provides plenty of cushion and protection while feeling nimble and light. My first foray into Salewa and I'm very pleased.

Great Boot!
I’ve had some time to test this boot out and all I can say is wow! Boot is super comfortable, zero break in time, and tough! I’m in the military and put my boots through some hard work and long miles, these have had no issues keeping up and not degrading! Highly recommend!

Great Boot

No break in needed
These are the truth. I am a 11.5 in all brands and this holds true here. Day one in these I put 10 miles in through Joshua Tree National Park with no issues to include no blisters. They are lightweight and pretty flexible, almost fits like an approach shoe.

Perfect lightweight boot!
Exactly the right boot for Rocky, desert hunting. Chased mule deer all over the New Mexico desert. Lost track of the miles covered. Steep and very rocky. These boots were amazing.

I’ve had two pair of these, first pair I exchanged broke the lace eye off kicking a stump on accident. The eye material is aluminum or recycled hot wheels car material, it’s not mailable once bent, it’s brittle. These are very comfortably lightweight boots, after approximately 120-150 miles of wear (two full weeks archery hunting) the waterproof is completely compromised. My low top keens are more waterproof. These are also not warm whatsoever. They do seem to breathe very well.i still wear these but not when it’s wet at all.
