The Salewa Pedroc Pro Mid Powertex Hiking Boot combines a streamlined style with progressive mountain functionality. Ripstop PE uppers with TPU overlays provide durability yet keep things light and well-ventilated as we knock out three or four miles per hour. The Pomoca rubber outsoles offer us versatile traction that works well on mud, grass, and rock while the Powertex membrane provides waterproof and breathable weather protection for wet conditions. It also features Salewa's customizable footbed with separate, interchangeable layers that let us reduce the volume in the heel, front, or both to match our foot shape. The Pedroc Pro is a fresh choice for day hikers and fast-packers who tackle everything from urban trails to mixed mountain terrain.

Bought for canyoneering after rolling the dice with some low top shoes and my jellyfish ankles. Great support, and no break in needed. I have narrow feet and these for great.
